General Purpose

Under general supervision, assist in the execution of PacifiCorp’s companywide compliance programs focused on FERC/NERC/WECC, Critical Security Controls, and ISO 27001 compliance, including the continual development, implementation, coordination and maintenance of related compliance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the performance of day-to-day execution of all aspects of PacifiCorp’s compliance program, intended to ensure and oversee compliance with FERC, NERC, WECC, Critical Security Controls, and ISO 27001 regulations.
  • Organize, track, and manage compliance documentation.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance controls.
  • Coordinate and track various compliance activities.
  • Track and monitor progress on assigned activities, including but not limited to database maintenance and other compliance software.
  • Research, develop, and recommend appropriate interpretations of applicable regulations.
  • Assist in analyzing PacifiCorp’s compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Coordinate with companywide business units to identify appropriate party responsible for maintaining compliance with identified requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory rules, policies, procedures and practices.
  • Analysis, assessment and investigation skills to determine recommendations or plans of action.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult and resolve internal or external compliance issues which may be sensitive in nature.
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and backgrounds; ability to work as a member of a team and ability to present alternatives and recommendations.
  • Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications.
