General Purpose

Conducts analysis through research, gathering and interpretation of data, development of alternatives and recommendations. Presents analysis and recommendations to management and may implement selected alternative. Analyses include, but are not limited to, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis, trending/forecasting, financial analysis, budget analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the investment policy and other authorization policies to support the Company’s internal policies and Sarbanes Oxley.
  • Develop financial analysis of corporate strategic projects and leasing proposals.
  • Analyze investing and borrowing alternatives. 
  • Provide information on individual cash receipts and disbursement to various departments.
  • Maintain records of all investments, commercial paper and cash transactions and produce monthly reports of transactions and interest accruals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with multiple financial institutions to ensure current and future cash management requirements are available and meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Provide support as needed in meeting the Company’s requirements related to its public stock and debit, and in preparing responses to shareholders.
  • Monitor the Company’s compliance with the various debt agreements and prepare and issue monthly and annual debt compliance documents. 
  • Provide analysis and recommendations as needed for investing/borrowing decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of three years experience in treasury operations in a medium to large company, banking, or investments.
  • Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications to gather, analyze and model information.
  • Program or policy development skills.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult with internal and external customers regarding matters and issues which may be sensitive in nature.
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and backgrounds; ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Ability to present alternatives and recommendations. 
  • Knowledge of data gathering, analysis, forecasting, and modeling techniques; applicable Company policies and procedures; applicable federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations.
