Drug and Alcohol Testing Procedures

E-Verify
Federal law requires all employers to verify the identity and employment authorization status of all persons hired to work in the United States. As part of this process, PacifiCorp participates in the federal Electronic Employment Verification Program, or E-Verify. Employee Polygraph Protection Act
The Employee Polygraph Protection Act prohibits most private employers from using lie detector tests either for pre-employment screening or during the course of employment. For more information, click here.
Employment Selection Procedures Act Policy in Utah
In accordance with the Utah Employment Selection Procedures Act, the company will not request a social security number, date of birth, or driver license number from an applicant prior to a conditional job offer, except in limited circumstances as provided for under the Act. Minor Child Court Appearances in Utah
