We partner with a number of services locally and regionally to ensure you have access to experts in medical care.
Our full list of benefits includes: 

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401k with match fixed contributions, including a Roth and saving option. For union employees, matching contributions vary by union. For nonunion, PacifiCorp makes a fixed contribution equal to 4% of your eligible pay each year for new hires. In addition, PacifiCorp matches 100% of the first 6% you contribute.

  • Additional voluntary benefits, including pet insurance

Work-Life Balance

Our commitment to employees means that we look for ways to create an environment where employees can thrive personally and professionally.  Pacificorp offers the following additional benefits:

  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) - Time off varies by employee type (Union or Non-Union)
    • For non-union employees, they will receive 12 hours of PTO per month. Employees PTO balance can be used for vacation, short-duration sickness or accident, family illness, or personal business.
      • Employee's PTO accrual rate will increase after completion of your 49th month of employment. 
    • Non-union employees will receive 10 paid holidays and 2 additional floating holidays throughout the calendar year.
    • For union employees, it varies but employees will receive at least 6.66 hours of vacation per month after completion of probationary period and 72 hours of sick leave (dependent on start date).
    • Union employees will receive at least 9 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
  • For non-union employees, standard/hybrid/remote work arrangements are available to eligible employees. This could be combined with an alternate work schedule such as a compressed workweek. 
  • Paid short-term disability leave and long-term disability insurance
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Paid Bereavement Leave 

Tuition Assistance

The tuition assistance program is an important tool we offer to support employees in their educational and career development. To foster development & growth opportunities, PacifiCorp provides tuition assistance, and reimbursement of lab and book fees to employees following 6 months of continuous employment who average 20 or more hours per week.

Employee Assistance Program

For those times in life where circumstances can be difficult, we offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that is available to all employees and their dependents. The EAP is a no cost service to help you and eligible family members identify and health with personal, health, and other related issues to help you lead a more productive and successful life. Assistance is offered for issues such as:

  • Personal counseling
  • Financial services
  • Referrals for child and elder care services
  • Legal questions and advice, including free telephone consultations and discounted legal services.

Mass Transit Pass

PacifiCorp’s commitment to the environment includes helping take cars off the road . For employees in our Portland and Salt Lake City Offices, free transit passes are available and can be used for your commute or personal travel. 

Matching Donations

Through PacifiCorp’s Matching Gift Program, your donations to eligible nonprofit organizations can be matched dollar for dollar, building on the company’s commitment to support employee giving and promote the health and vitality of our communities. Any full-time PacifiCorp employee may participate in this program.
