Responsibilities

A Hydro Wireman is an employee who is responsible for all aspects of the electrical systems on a hydro electric facility, Will service all equipment related to 7 generation facilities. Accountable to execute equipment isolations. Cleaning, inspecting and repairs on Generators, Switching gear, Transformers, Exciters, Governors, Station service equipment.

Requirements

• Journeyman Electrical license in Washington state or a state with reciprocity
• 3 or more years’ experience with an industrial facility
• Proficient with testing equipment (Doble, Meggar)
• Proficient in all diagnostic testing and analysis of test results
• Ability to read electrical schematics and redline drawings
• Experience with troubleshooting PLC’s and power distribution equipment
• Proficient with all Microsoft 360 applications

Preferences

• Hydro electrical experience
• Substation experience
• Power generation experience
