General Purpose

Facilitates generating plant activities in an effective sequence by monitoring tasks, task-owners timelines and expenditures. Compiles data, tracks, summarizes, and reports results, and develops and/or maintains reference information and databases. Compiles, organizes, and summarizes data from multiple sources; monitors/tracks processes to ensure their execution within defined parameters. Determines schedules and availability of resources/materials. Ensures activities are performed in accordance with contract, corporate, and regulatory agency requirements.

Responsibilities

•    Under general guidance, compile data and prepare required departmental and ad hoc reports. 
•    Respond to inquiries and requests for data, materials and information of a complex and/or confidential manner. 
•    Develop and/or maintain reference information and databases.  
•    Compile, organize, and summarize data from multiple sources; monitor processes to ensure their execution within defined parameters.
•    Audit training reports to ensure environmental and safety compliance at the plant.
•    Research and respond to customers, vendors, upper management and internal customers regarding complaints and/or needs in a timely manner.  
•    Under general guidance interpret and communicate policies, procedures, practices to internal and external individuals. 
•    Assist with planning, coordinating and facilitating plant events or programs.   
•    Ensures activities are performed in accordance with contract, corporate, and regulatory agency requirements.
•    Coordinate and administer labor relations procedures with staff.
•    Coordinate and administer general Human Resource, employee benefit and payroll procedures.

Requirements


•    High school diploma or equivalent; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. 
•    Experienced with the use of personal computers including spreadsheet, database, word processing, and presentation applications to compile, maintain, and present information.
•    Communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work with all organizational levels as a team member, to ensure that key information on schedules, requirements, and resources is communicated to management in a clear and timely manner.
•    Ability to communicate and interact with individuals in all levels of the organization, industry and community.

Preferences

 

  • One year of experience coordinating activities that demonstrates proven skills and knowledge level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field.
  • Knowledge of company and departmental policies, procedures, practices as well as applicable federal, state, and local governmental laws and regulations.
