General Purpose
The Talent Director is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and management of talent acquisition, succession planning, talent programs, and the learning and development team. This role ensures the organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent to meet its business objectives. This position directs and allocates employee resources, as well as selecting, coaching, and developing employees.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition:
• Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
• Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on best practices.
• Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Succession Planning:
• Design and implement a comprehensive succession planning framework to identify and develop future leaders.
• Work with senior leadership to assess key positions and identify potential successors.
• Train employees on how to create development plans to prepare them for future leadership roles.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of succession plans and adjust as needed.
Talent Programs:
• Develop and manage talent development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
• Implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall job satisfaction.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify and address talent gaps and development needs.
• Measure the effectiveness of talent programs and continuously improve them based on feedback and results.
Learning and Development:
• Lead the learning and development team to design and deliver training programs that align with organizational goals.
• Assess the training needs of employees and create customized Learning solutions.
• Implement a variety of learning methods, including workshops, e-learning, and on-the-job training.
• Evaluate the impact of training programs on employee performance and organizational success.
Leadership:
• Responsible for establishment and adherence to department budget.
• Maintain sensitive and confidential information regarding company information.
• Select, coach, and develop employees.
• Review and evaluate employee performance and prepare annual reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of ten years’ experience in Human Resources management.
- A minimum of five years of direct people management experience.
- Proven experience in talent management, including talent acquisition, succession planning, and learning and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and implement innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in HR software and data analytics.
- Strong leadership and team management skills including the ability to establish objectives, develop and execute policy, direct and monitor resources, and recommend and oversee development or implementation of systems, programs, or processes.
- Communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage and motivate employees, use oral and written communication to create a vision, communicate strategy, and effectively interface with other Company leaders.
- Knowledge of the Company’s strategic plan, as well as the Company’s policies, procedures and practices, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 20.00% of salary.
