General Purpose
This role supports the execution of PacifiCorp’s companywide Information Security Management System (ISMS) compliance program, ensuring alignment with ISO 27001 and ISO 27019 standards. Responsibilities include the ongoing development, implementation, coordination and maintenance of related compliance activities, as well as documentation and the preparation of PacifiCorp evidence packages for internal and external auditing.
Responsibilities
• Execute daily operations of PacifiCorp’s regulatory compliance program to ensure adherence to ISO 27001 and ISO 27019 security requirements.
• Facilitate the development and annual review of compliance documentation that demonstrate PacifiCorp’s alignment with relevant security standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with general counsel, compliance teams, consultants, and regulatory bodies to establish implementation parameters and compliance objectives.
• Act as a liaison between PacifiCorp and external partners ensuring alignment with industry security standards and best practices.
• Support compliance owners by assisting in the creation and validation of compliance documentation.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed in accordance with the PacifiCorp Project Governance and Standards, maintaining compliance with ISO security frameworks.
• Implement programs, procedures, and policies related to change control, configuration management, asset management, and security testing to reinforce compliance.
• Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, and budgets, monitoring progress against defined objectives.
• Provide strategic direction on program execution, policy development, and evaluation of compliance initiatives.
• Establish and execute communication and implementation plans to ensure long-term sustainability of security compliance programs within the organization.
• Work closely with plant and field personnel to provide technical support and facilitate security-related projects.
• Coordinate activities across business units to address compliance deficiencies associated with internal and external auditing..
• Drive progress in all ISMS compliance-related initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- A minimum of five years professional experience.
- Knowledge of regulatory rules, policies, procedures and practices.
- Project management, analysis, assessment and investigation skills to determine recommendations or plans of action.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult and resolve internal or external compliance issues which may be sensitive in nature.
- Ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and backgrounds; ability to work as a member of a team and ability to present alternatives and recommendations.
- Proficient with the use of personal computers including spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and presentation applications.

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 15.00% of salary.
