General Purpose

To assist with networking and information technology operations, troubleshooting, analyses, and configuration.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support and guidance to clients
• Configure, test and setup network/telecom devices, video conference, and telephones 
• Installation tasks including mounting hardware in telecom facilities
• Performing software upgrades on equipment as instructed 
• Telephone maintenance and troubleshooting tasks; move/add/replace at local office and neighboring facilities.
   

Requirements

• At least 1 year of coursework in a technology or engineering related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to interact favorably with project and work teams.
• Strong problem solving skills, detail-oriented, quick learning skills.
• Communication and interpersonal skills involving the ability to work cross-functionally to understand requirements, present alternatives, and recommendations.
• Proficient with the use of personal computers and automated tools.
