General Purpose

 

Under general supervision. Manages projects focused on implementing new customer billings, new customer facing programs and refining existing processes as assigned. Identifies, analyzes, recommends, and implements projects to achieve assigned business initiatives

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage key customer and regulatory programs to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Responsible for process development of existing and new billing solutions required to be established outside of the customer service billing system due to complexity and system limitations.
  • Responsible for managing moderately complex projects with considerable customer, corporate and business unit impact.  
    • Evaluate and establish project goals, develop project plans, negotiate timelines and schedules, and monitor progress against plan.
    • Manage project resource needs, scope, implementation, and ongoing review of related controls.
    • Communicate project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes. Manage client expectations.
    • Facilitate team efforts, provide guidance and direction to team members
    • Manage interactions between customers and the project teams
  • Primary interface with Customer Service Customer Tools, Care Center Operations, Meter Business System Support and Information Technology teams.
  • Analyze, recommend and implement procedure and process enhancements.

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business; or the equivalent combination of education.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in project management.
  • Project management experience.
  • Analytical and evaluation skills including the ability to define critical tasks, establish sequence of events, identify and assess risks, options and recommendations
  • Project management skills including the ability to identify resource needs, development of project plans
  • Demonstratable ability to monitor work agreements, budgets, requirement specifications, schedules and deliverables, ensuring projects remain on track.
  • Demonstratable strong oral and written communication skills for effective communication with teams, ability to consistently facilitate team efforts in high pressure situations with positive progression, ability provide constructive guidance and direction to team members

Preferences

 

  • Working knowledge of Customer Service systems, Metering systems and Data Warehouses.
