Responsibilities
Position requires a self starting, self motivated individual who can perform, arrange for, track and over see the repair of small and large distribution utility equipment including gas and diesel powered, hydraulically operated digger/derricks, personnel buckets and other construction equipment with minimum supervision. A focus on cost and limiting end user down time is a priority. Input of computer based maintenance records is a must. The ability to easily adapt and focus your job scheduling priorities is a bonus. Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without an accommodation.
Requirements
- A high school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be, by training and/or experience, a qualified Journeyman automotive or mechanized construction equipment mechanic.
- Successful completion of our mechanics aptitude test.
- Candidate must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL within 60 days from start date.
Preferences
- 5 years of experience repairing small and large distribution utility equipment.
